LEAD1 Virtual Forum’s Preparing for a Potential Future with College Athletes as Employees Set for March 9

LEAD1 will continue to host a number of virtual forums for ADs, coaches, administrators and other stakeholders to guide them how to navigate complex and uncharted new realities.

Every LEAD1 athletics department should be aware of legislative, judicial, and administrative developments that may affect the status of student-athletes. Because of these possible changes, LEAD1 athletics departments should begin preparing for a potential future with college athletes defined as employees, whether via legislative, judicial, or administrative means. LEAD1 invites attendees to it latest webinar titled, “Preparing for a Potential Future with College Athletes as Employees,” where expert employment attorneys will discuss how athletics departments should begin preparing for possible athlete employment status.
