Sports Law Professor Gary Chester Presents 6-Credit CLE

Sports Law Professor Gary Chester, who is also a senior writer for Hackney Publications, will be presenting a six-credit Continuing Legal Education course entitled “How the Law is Shaping the Future of Sports” in Atlanta on September 19, 2023.

The course is provided by the Georgia State Bar and the Professional Education Group. Chester will provide an overview of eight areas of sports law, including torts, Title IX, IP and NIL rights, and governance of high school, intercollegiate, and professional sports. Chester  has reported and commented on sports law issues for a variety of publications as well as served as an adjunct professor at two New Jersey colleges since 2008, where he teaches several courses in law, including The Law of Sports, Entertainment and Tourism.
