Jenner & Block Grows Litigation Team with Addition of Attorney that Represented Ravens During Investigation
Jenner & Block has grown its Litigation Department in Los Angeles with the addition of Alex Romain, a leading national trial lawyer with nearly 25 years of experience representing individuals and corporations in a broad range of high-stakes matters.
Romain’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, white collar defense, and internal investigations.
In one of the investigations, he represented the Baltimore Ravens and members of their senior personnel regarding the independent investigation that was conducted by former FBI Director Robert Mueller. In that investigation, accusations were made that league executives saw or were in possession of the Ray Rice in-elevator video, which showed a domestic assault, before its public release. Those accusations were disproven.
“Alex is a highly skilled lawyer whose experience working with clients across an incredible range of industries and issues nicely complements the work our Litigation team does,” said Partner Todd C. Toral. “Clients turn to him for his guidance on a range of issues such as breach of contract, fraud, or fiduciary obligations, and representation when disputes lead to the courtroom.”
Romain earned his BA from Yale University and his JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
