Sports Lawyer Assumes Post as Director of Legislative Services for Coaches Association
Dominick Giambrone, Jr., J.D. has joined the U.S. Track & Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as the Director of Legislative Services. In his position, Giambrone will have administrative oversight of the USTFCCCA Board of Directors and the Executive Track & Field and Executive Cross Country committees for all three NCAA Divisions. He will also serve as the legislative liaison for USTFCCCA proposals for NCAA track & field and cross country, and will monitor NCAA activity pertaining to USTFCCCA matters.
Giambrone previously served as the Sun Belt Conference Associate Commissioner of Championships and Sports Administration since 2011. Prior to that, Giambrone served as the Assistant Commissioner for Compliance and Educational Services for the Sun Belt Conference. Before joining the Sun Belt Conference, Giambrone served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance while at the University of New Orleans.
He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration. He earned his Juris Doctorate and Sports Law Certificate from Tulane Law School in 2008.
