Hackney Publications Lowers Subscription Rate to the Journal of NCAA Compliance to $49 to Accommodate Individual Compliance Professionals
Hackney Publications has announced that it has lowered the price of the Journal of NCAA Compliance to $49 for individual subscriptions as a way to make the publication more affordable for compliance professionals.
The cost for institutions that want two subscriptions will be $98, while three subscriptions will be $147. Full department-wide and library subscription rates will be increased to $275.
“We did this because athletic departments are under siege from a budget standpoint,” said publisher Holt Hackney. “While NCAA compliance issues are of paramount importance, the budget for subscription-based resources like the Journal are limited. By lowering it to $49, we have made it so that even those with the most scrutinized budgets could afford a subscription for one person in their department. In addition, individuals, who don’t have the support of their department, could subscribe as a way to advance their career.”
