Foley Advises Milwaukee Bucks in Launch of ‘Fear the Deer NFTs’ Collection
Foley & Lardner LLP has assisted the Milwaukee Bucks in launching its digital collectibles experience called “Fear The Deer NFTs,” which will “allow fans an opportunity to collect, own, and trade fan-focused digital assets.”
In collaboration with the non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace and distribution platform Sweet, the new collection will allow Bucks fans access to the next generation of sports memorabilia, building upon the team’s release of its 1971 Championship NFT Collection last year. As the rollout continues, fans will receive access to new collections, exclusive digital merchandise, and the ability to unlock real-world benefits and other rewards to augment their experience.
The Foley team was led by Partner Kevin Schulz, co-chair of the firm’s Sports & Entertainment Group. Schulz is also a member of Foley’s NFT Task Force, a multi-disciplinary team of lawyers actively engaged in guiding businesses through their NFT projects and other emergent needs.
