Proskauer Adds Former NFL General Counsel Jeff Pash as Partner

Proskauer has added Jeff Pash as a partner in its Sports Group in New York.
Pash served as executive vice president and general counsel of the National Football League from 1997 to 2025. In that role, he advised league leadership on legal, labor, governance and business matters, including antitrust litigation, collective bargaining, investigations, and the development of the NFL’s private equity and debt policies.
Before joining the NFL, Pash was senior vice president and general counsel of the National Hockey League, where he advised the league on governance, legal disputes and strategic initiatives.
At Proskauer, Pash will advise clients on matters involving sports law, including antitrust, complex litigation, labor relations, private capital and other legal and business issues affecting professional sports.
Pash joins one of the country’s largest sports law practices, which represents professional sports leagues, teams, governing bodies, investors and other industry stakeholders.
