Risk Management Text Safe at First Expanded for Ease of Use

Safe at First, Vol. 2 is the much-acclaimed sport risk management tome published in 2025 that can help make the concepts and execution of risk management easier for students and practitioners alike.  With over 40 authors, almost 120 chapters, and over 1,000 pages, the book is the most in-depth text every written to combine new stories, cases, and risk management solutions.  The text has been adopted at a nice number of universities such as Arkansas, Providence College, and the University of West Florida.

Now there are ancillaries to help make the text much more user friendly.  The ancillaries include:

• sample syllabi to fit into a 13-15 week semester,
• a quiz bank with true/false, multiple choice, and fact pattern-based questions where students can be sent to a site, take the 20-minute quiz, and then submit their grade to the professor, and
• a semester long real-world project with a sample outline and a sample completed project to serve as a possible template.
