Gotta Love the NFL

At least I do.

It takes guts to make Bad Bunny the star attraction for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The NFL knows what it has and President Donald Trump and MAGA can’t touch it. What would really be impressive is if the NFL opened the field during intermission only to Hispanic Americans to illustrate its embrace of the Latin community.

And so what if 10 percent of Americans decided not to watch the game in protest. I guarantee that double the number of people from the Latin community, who might ordinarily not see the game, would tune in.

Unlike many people who are opining on the subject, I have seen Bad Bunny in concert. Very entertaining. There was nothing offensive about him. Only authenticity.

It’s time, with what happened at the Ryder Cup last week and elsewhere, that America get its act together. This is a great start. And who better to lead the charge than the NFL!
