Hackney Publications Partners with the Sports and Entertainment Risk Management Alliance to Produce Risk Management in Sports, A SERMA Membership Publication

Hackney Publications (HP), the nation’s leading publisher of sports law publications, has partnered with the Sports and Entertainment Risk Management Alliance (SERMA) to create the organization’s membership newsletter – Risk Management in Sports, A SERMA Membership Publication.
SERMA, which was founded in 2022 by attorney Rich Lenkov, is the first risk management association devoted entirely to the sports and entertainment industries. It is an organization of risk managers, claims managers, general counsels, outside counsel and other associated professionals who work in the sports and entertainment field. SERMA also produces extensive educational programs, ensuring that its members are well versed on the profession’s latest and best practices.
Hackney Publications, which was founded in 2002 by journalist Holt Hackney, produces more than two dozen sports law periodicals covering every aspect of the sports industry. Its publications are read by attorneys, athletics administrators, executives, academics and students, among others. Hackney Pubications is also partnered with various associations, including the Sports Lawyers Association and the Sports and Recreation Law Association, to produce their membership publications.
