Savoy Magazine named Orrick partner Will Stute among the Most Influential Lawyers in 2024 in recognition of their exceptional professionalism, protection of legal rights and community service.

Stute is a first-chair trial lawyer and business advisor who is nationally recognized for wins in courtrooms across the United States. Stute’s recent record includes three back-to-back wins for the NCAA – including the first to take on claims the NCAA is responsible for CTE in former college football players. He also won a patent infringement trial for Zynga in which Zynga’s video games were alleged to have infringed a casino game manufacturer’s patent. His courtroom successes have earned him titles such as CVN’s Most Impressive Defense Verdict of 2022, 2023 Winning Litigator of the Year from the National Law Journal, and American Lawyer Litigator of the Year finalist for 2023.
