Sport and Recreation Management Program at University of Iowa Hosts College Athletics Infractions Hearing Competition
The University of Iowa Sports Law Professor Dan Matheson, J.D. has announced the launch of the University of Iowa College Athletics Infractions Hearing Competition, which is co-hosted by the University of Iowa College of Law and the school’s Sport and Recreation Management program,
The competition closely simulates NCAA Committee on Infractions hearings and will put students in the roles of NCAA enforcement staff and defense counsel representing schools for a mock recruiting violation involving NIL.
