Sports Lawyer Ramy Morad Joins Major League Rugby as General Counsel

Major League Rugby (MLR) has announced the hire of Ramy Morad as general counsel for the nasceant league, which is in expansion mode. Morad, who will be based in Dallas, reportedly is replacing Peter Moore, a former senior partner at Polsinelli. Moore is now part of Robinson, Waters & O’Dorisio in Denver. Morad was previously an associate at Reed Smith, in its energy and natural resources practice. Prior to that, he was an associate at Norton Rose Fulbright.
