Sports Lawyer Joins Dodgers as Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced the hiring of Courtney Moore for the newly created position of Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
“The Dodgers are part of the fabric of Los Angeles, and it’s imperative that we represent the great diversity of our City and maintain an inclusive environment for all Angelenos at Dodger Stadium,” said Dodger President & CEO Stan Kasten. “These initiatives are of the utmost importance to our organization and we are thrilled to be able to find someone with Courtney’s experience and expertise to focus, build out and lead our DEI programs. She’s been a positive agent of change across multiple industries during the course of her career, and we’re looking forward to learning from her and continuing to develop as an organization.”
During a career that spans more than 20 years, Moore has been responsible for the implementation of diversity initiatives encompassing recruitment, retention and inclusion in the finance, engineering and legal industries. Most recently, she was the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the law firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson, where Moore was responsible for creating and implementing the strategy to enhance the firm’s culture of inclusion.

Moore also has several years of experience in talent acquisition having worked for Special Counsel, Inc and The Hollins Group in direct hire corporate placements. Additionally, she has experience in the sports industry as the Broadcast and Special Events Coordinator for the Chicago White Sox.
Moore earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, and also holds a Masters degree in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College.
