Webinar on ‘Building Institutional Control in the NIL Era’ Slated for December 2

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and the National Association of Athletics Compliance are hosting a webinar tomorrow, December 2, from 1 to 2:30 EST. It is entitled Building Institutional Control in the NIL Era – a Webinar.

The organizations describe the webinar as follows: “Forthcoming changes to NCAA Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) legislation will impact intercollegiate athletics in a manner far beyond student-athlete revenue generation. This NACDA/NAAC joint session will explore the many considerations that athletics directors and other institutional administrators should address to ensure institutional control and monitoring of student-athletes’ NIL activities. Pennie Parker, Director of Athletics at Rollins College and NACDA Secretary, will lead a discussion of compliance professionals representing each Division I subdivision and a variety of geographical locations as we explore the practitioner perspective of various NIL era challenges and opportunities.”
