Nebraska Sports Law Professor Named Associate Executive Director of Sports & Recreation Law Association

The Sports & Recreation Law Association has named Nita Unruh, a professor and department chair at the University of Nebraska Kearney, as its new associate executive director.

Professor Unruh is currently the Program Chair for the Graduate and Undergraduate Sports Management Programs and Coordinator of the Online Master’s Programs in Physical Education and General KSS in Coaching at UNK.

She joined UNK in 1999, shortly after receiving her doctorate from the University of Arkansas. Professor Unruh received her undergraduate degree at Henderson State University in Arkansas and and Master’s at Florida State University.  She has been a member of SRLA since 1996.
