Campus Health Project to Speak at LEAD1 Association’s COVID-19 Testing Webinar

Shares knowledge on how collegiate athletic departments can execute a winning COVID-19 testing plan

Campus Health Project (CHP), higher education’s trusted COVID-19 testing partner, today announced that its company executives will speak at an upcoming COVID-19 testing webinar hosted by LEAD1 Association (LEAD1), which represents athletics directors at 130-member schools of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The webinar, “Countdown to Kick-off: How to Execute Your Winning COVID-19 Testing Plan,” will take place on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 3:00pm EDT to 4:00pm EDT.

With collegiate athletics forming the foundation of most school’s financial forecasts, athletic directors are currently searching for dependable and consistent solutions to pre-game testing with quick turnaround times.

CHP executives will join an esteemed panel of medical, higher education, lab and legal fields to share their knowledge and advice on creating safe and successful COVID-19 testing plans. Webinar speakers include:

  • Thomas Huard, CHP’s Chief Clinical Laboratory Advisor and former Chairman of Best Practices at Quest Diagnostics. Dr. Huard oversaw these best practices for the largest molecular lab(s) in the world.
  • Chuck Brady, CHP’s CEO and Chief Higher Education Advisor. Brady also founded Apogee in 1998, successfully growing it to become the largest managed communications provider in higher education, currently supporting over 420 universities in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Joyce Gresko, partner at Alston & Bird and Legal Counsel at the American Clinical Laboratory Association. She brings unique insight into the regulations related to testing as well as the ramifications of testing results.

“Speedy, reliable COVID-19 testing is the cornerstone of safe collegiate sports and university reopenings,” said Brady, CHP CEO and chief higher education advisor. “As we countdown to kickoff, Campus Health Project is excited to join LEAD1 at this timely webinar and looks forward to providing athletic directors with the tools they need to implement winning COVID-19 testing plans.”

Participants will also learn answers to top-of-mind questions such as testing best practices, lab selection criteria, compliance and legal issues, and the latest information on collection devices and methodologies.

With advice from CHP’s expert panel, the webinar will help athletic directors develop and implement a successful testing strategy. Interested individuals can register for the webinar here.
