LEAD1 Association Launches Internship Program Designed to Expose Candidates to College Athletics
The LEAD1 Association, which represents the athletics directors of the 130 member institutions of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), has recently launched an Internship Program to continue its investment in the future leaders in college sports. The program will look for two individuals with a passion for intercollegiate athletics and provide them with the opportunity to build connections, pitch ideas and take on challenging projects.
LEAD1 has begun a search for two candidates to fill the roles of “Graphic Designer (Digital Content)” and “Research Analyst” to assist in the production and distribution of the Association’s digital content and research efforts. While assisting with a wide range of projects, the Internship Program will provide a pathway for young professionals to develop skills to grow both personally and professionally.
“In the last four years, our team has put strong emphasis on external messaging and developing the LEAD1 brand,” LEAD1 President and CEO Tom McMillen said. “The LEAD1 Internship Program will become an important part of our growth as we strive to create forward-thinking content and spark innovative discussion among our membership. I look forward to working with the next generation of industry leaders and help further their careers in college athletics.”
